Job Summary

The Forum Health Centre is seeking a skilled and dedicated COVID-19 Vaccination Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our vaccination team, you will play a vital role in delivering a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccination service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-vaccination clinical assessments to ensure patients meet the criteria for safe vaccination.
  • Prepare and administer COVID-19 vaccinations to patients, adhering to standard operating procedures and national protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of vaccinations administered, including patient data and vaccine information.
  • Collaborate with the vaccination team to ensure a smooth and efficient vaccination process.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.

Requirements
  • Registered Healthcare Professional (NMC, GPhC, or equivalent).
  • Current immunisation training and update, or willingness to undertake.
  • Previous experience in a similar clinical role, with a focus on vaccination or immunisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions

This role will require you to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering a high-volume vaccination service. You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be exposed to challenging situations, such as difficult patients or emotional situations.
