Job Title: Anaemia Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced nurse to lead our anaemia service, responsible for autonomously running an anaemia clinic, reviewing and interpreting blood results, and escalating concerns in primary settings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for arranging and administering Intravenous Iron infusion under patient group direction policy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work as an independent practitioner under the supervision of the Designated Medical Practitioner.
  • Develop and implement effective anaemia management strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Conduct venepuncture and cannulation procedures.
  • Utilize relevant point of care testing equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working as an anaemia nurse.
  • Knowledge of anaemia management.
  • Project management skills.
