As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5, promoting their learning and development through play.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with parents daily on their child's activities and progress, ensuring a strong partnership between home and nursery.
- Engage in interactive play, reading, and other activities aligned to the learning curriculum, fostering a love of learning in our children.
- Promote and ensure child welfare and protection, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Manage your own time effectively to complete required coursework and meet deadlines, ensuring your own professional development.
Requirements
- English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2.
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging, with excellent relationship building skills, including empathy, active listening, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
