We offer a broad range of services, combining the infrastructure and scalability of a multi-national third-party logistics company with the flexibility, agility, and dedication to customer care of a family-run business.
Main Purpose of the RoleTo be a key part of the warehouse administration team and support the Area Managers and Warehouse Manager in the smooth running of the entire warehouse function. This includes ensuring all business requirements and customer requests related to administrative activities are carried out in full as required.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accuracy and availability of stocks within the warehouse by following all operational processes and procedures correctly relevant on the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Work cohesively with all other support functions within the wider operation and carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested by the business.
- Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders, providing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, including processing paperwork and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Support the safety culture by maintaining compliance with site H&S standards, attending relevant training courses, and reporting near misses.
- Collaborate with the warehouse operatives to ensure smooth operations and provide assistance as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders.
- Excellent written, numeracy, and accurate data entry skills.
- Good time keeping and highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with others.
- Must have own transportation to work.
- 1 year's experience of working in a warehouse environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Understanding of inbound/outbound supply chain processes.
- Customer Service: Ensure all paperwork is processed with accuracy.
- Escalate and resolve any receipt or delivery queries.
- Ensure all documentation is processed within 24 hours of receipt.
