About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a male Mental Health hospital in Dorking. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients with mental health needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Participate in shift handovers, contributing to a smooth transition of care and ensuring continuity of patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices, research, and evidence-based guidelines in mental health nursing.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN) and valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals.
  • At least 6 months of mental health experience as a nurse in the UK, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care and recovery-focused approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care, upholding the values and principles of the organization, and promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
