Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in the Dorking, Surrey area.

This hospital provides acute mental health services, including a 3-bedded step-down, community-focused ward, supporting males of working age experiencing an acute mental health episode.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimize patient engagement
  • Follow all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
  • Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a senior level, lead shifts, mentor, and support student nurses and other team members
