About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Neurology team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive working between Acute and Community Neurology Services.
  • Contribute to the organisation of Neurology multidisciplinary, patient-centred care, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate management.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and their carers, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Support the development and implementation of best practice within the speciality of neurology, ensuring that national and local targets are met.
  • Provide a specialist nursing role in the assessment and management of patients who have suffered a neurology condition, both inpatients and outpatients.
  • Develop and lead nurse-led outpatient services, managing a caseload and providing key support and educational resources for nursing staff, allied health professionals, and junior doctors.
