Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Sourcing Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our clinical trials sourcing function, developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, and managing relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for clinical trials materials, services, and suppliers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical trial supplies and services into ongoing operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery timelines, and cost targets.
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with finance teams to develop budgets and monitor expenses against budgeted targets.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives to identify areas of potential savings without compromising quality or timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, business administration).
  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trials sourcing processes and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
