Red Bus Nursery & Pre-School is seeking a Special Needs Practitioner to join our team. This part-time role involves working 1:1 with a child on Tuesday and Thursday, from 9am-6pm in our Kindergarten room.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children with additional needs. As a Special Needs Practitioner, you'll work closely with the child's support plan, collaborating with the SENDco and outside agencies to ensure the child's individual needs are met.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the child during these hours, helping them access the curriculum and understand their needs. You may also be required to work with exercises provided by different professionals and interventions.

Requirements
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, building strong relationships with colleagues and families.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possess a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
