Psychotherapist/Applied Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychotherapist/Applied Psychologist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with complex emotional difficulties and trauma histories.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support service users in achieving their goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the sharing of knowledge and expertise to inform service delivery.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of strategies to enhance service quality.
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychotherapy or a related field, with registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, UKCP).
- Experience of working with individuals with complex emotional difficulties and trauma histories, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support service users.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of psychotherapy.
