Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Cybersecurity Engineer. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security systems to safeguard customer assets, information, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure systems (hardware and software) to meet organisational requirements.
  • Ensure operational security systems perform optimally, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary updates.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver high-quality installations on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide expert guidance on new technologies and opportunities for upgrades to stakeholders.
  • Verify and ensure compliance of security systems with industry standards, government regulations, and internal policies.
  • Partner with the Operations Director and Project Managers to oversee and manage projects, ensuring successful outcomes that meet client expectations.
  • Foster close relationships with the Maintenance Manager to address technical challenges and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Offer support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to aid their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the security systems sector, with expertise in Access Control and CCTV installation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cybersecurity principles, physical security systems, networking, system integration, and security protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, coupled with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to provide constructive feedback.
