Job Summary:

Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Assembly Operative to join our team in Poole. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling products in line with technical drawings and/or storyboards, coil winding, and finishing products ready for inspection and/or packing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products in accordance with pre-defined procedures and quality control standards.
  • Coil winding for all product types and finishing of products ready for inspection and/or packing, including labelling, cleaning, etc.
  • Test products in accordance with procedures and quality control standards.
  • Paint spray all product types in accordance with procedures and customer specifications.
  • Adhere to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Undertake soldering when required.
  • Record accurate data using spreadsheets and official documents when required.
  • Ensure the workplace area is clean and tidy at commencement and end of shift.

Requirements:

  • Experience of using a variety of coating media applied to specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Able to understand and follow work instructions, for example, procedures, storyboards, etc.
  • Have a proficient level of manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
  • A high level of attention to detail with a flexible approach and a good team player.
  • Computer literate.
