Role Overview:

As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures throughout the company.

You will work closely with project teams to ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, reducing risks and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive health & safety policies and procedures for the company.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
  3. Identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement control measures to minimize risks.
  4. Provide expert advice, training, and support to employees, subcontractors, and management on health & safety matters.
  5. Keep up to date with the latest health & safety legislation and industry best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant.
  6. Manage the company's health & safety documentation, including maintaining records of training, inspections, and incident reports.
  7. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies on health & safety issues.
  8. Promote a positive safety culture across the business, driving continuous improvement in health & safety performance.
