Senior Analytics Implementation Engineer

We build innovative tools for our newsrooms and ensure the ethical and effective use of data.

Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Implementation Engineer to design and implement digital analytics solutions across all products supplied by News Group Newspapers media, including thetimes.li.

  • Create and manage the web analytics Solution Design Reference for all our digital products, implementing required configurations within tag management systems.
  • Assist in onboarding, oversee the work, and provide expert-level guidance to our analytics implementation engineers to ensure quality and performance.
  • Produce technical specifications for development teams to ensure a data layer is in place on websites and provide expert-level advice on implementation approaches.

Key Requirements:

  • Senior experience in designing and implementing large, complex digital analytics solutions that span web and mobile apps from start to finish.
  • Expert-level knowledge of configuring a range of tracking pixels, analytics, and marketing technologies.
  • Expert-level knowledge of configuring Google Analytics Accounts and Properties, including Custom Dimensions and Metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application development methodologies.
  • Expert knowledge of advanced features of analytics and marketing technologies.
