Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and healthy meals. You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and working collaboratively with our catering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents
  • Working collaboratively with the catering team to ensure efficient meal service
  • Maintaining accurate records of food stocks and supplies

Requirements:

  • NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation (or willingness to study for one)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain high standards of communication
  • Basic numeracy skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
