About The Role

As a Scrub Practitioner or Operating Department Practitioner, you have the opportunity to work in partnership with the NHS, delivering scheduled treatments to private and NHS patients.

">

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital Emerson's Green. As a member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery.

You will be competent in all aspects of scrub/circulating technique and procedures, as well as acting as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase. Your role will involve working closely with the orthopaedic team, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from an extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including pre-planned shifts and opportunities for professional development.

What We're Looking For

">

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with experience of working in a theatre environment.

You will also need to have sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department, as well as experience of working with an orthopaedic team.
