Asset Building Surveyor

Carrington West is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our team in a role that offers a challenging and rewarding career path. As a Building Surveyor - Asset Management, you will be responsible for delivering projects, commissions, and professional services across a wide range of sectors, including educational, commercial, and industrial.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver projects and commissions, ensuring effective communication and successful project completion.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct building surveys, attend meetings, and provide expert advice on design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of properties.
- Support the Building Surveying team on complex multi-disciplinary schemes, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Assist in the development of specifications, estimates, and maintenance programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive building surveying services, including design, specification, and contract administration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance service delivery.
- Chartered Building Surveyor (or working towards) with a strong understanding of building surveying principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet client needs.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, NBS, and other industry-standard tools.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
