About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in Saltcoats. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting a lady with learning disabilities and a sensory impairment in her daily life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including cooking, housework, shopping, medication, personal care, and finances.
  • Support the lady in maintaining her independence and participating in her hobbies and interests.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the lady receives high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the lady and the team.
Requirements
  • A caring attitude and approach.
  • Good communication skills.
  • An understanding of the importance of following guidelines and routines.
  • A positive approach to learning.
  • Confidence in the use of computers.
  • The ability to cook.
Working Arrangements

Shift patterns will involve working 1000-1000 the next day (includes a sleepover). Weekends and public holidays will also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. You will receive an additional payment of £96 for each sleepover that you work.
