Resident Engineer

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner. This will involve working to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client's premises.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of at least one of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Hydraulics. They will also have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess good communication skills.
The Resident Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
- Working to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs
- Monitoring site stock and ensuring sufficient supplies for daily maintenance
- Carrying out inspections and monitoring the safety of repaired and maintained trucks
- Accurately completing job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork
