About the Role

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service and repair team, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring site stock is monitored and counted, and will have the ability to work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads, and work to tight deadlines. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure site stock is monitored and counted.
  • Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.
  • Monitor the safety of repaired and maintained trucks.
  • Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork within the required timescales.
Requirements
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads, and work to tight deadlines.
