Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Composite Assembly Technician to join our team at McLaren Group. As a key member of our composite assembly manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality composite parts and assemblies to support our Formula One Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce composite parts and assemblies to meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect and test completed components to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Trim and assemble carbon fibre components to precise specifications.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production and delivery of components.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent practical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with carbon fibre and composite materials.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in manufacturing software.
