Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Composite Assembly Technician to join our team at McLaren Racing Composites. As a key member of our composite assembly manufacturing team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality composite parts and assemblies to support our Formula One Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce composite parts and assemblies to engineering specifications
  • Ensure all parts conform to specific instruction sheets
  • Inspect completed components for quality and accuracy
  • Trim and assemble carbon fibre components
  • Assemble new car parts and service items from races and tests
  • Prepare parts for Non Destructive Testing inspection
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and possess engineering skills
  • Good practical skills and experience with trimming and assembling carbon fibre
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Basic PC literacy and good communication skills
