Job Title: Financial Transactions Manager

About the Role:
Howett Thorpe is seeking a highly skilled Financial Transactions Manager to join its busy accounts department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:
• Reconcile accounts, process payments, and ensure SRA compliance
• Monitor daily transactions, allocate funds, process bank reconciliations, and handle deposits/withdrawals
• Process supplier invoices, manage petty cash/expenses, and generate financial reports
• Ensure adherence to legal requirements, assist with audits, and provide documentation
• Assist fee earners and staff with account queries and provide financial guidance

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar role
• Understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal financial compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
