About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Floor Manager to join our team at The Dorchester. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Beverage Banquet team to provide a high standard of beverage service and set-up, including displays, exhibits, bars, and decorations.
- Work closely with the Banqueting events team to deliver a world-class banqueting operation across various event spaces.
- Collaborate with the Director of Bars and Head of Wines to create innovative beverage offerings that exceed guest expectations.
- Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to ensure efficient event delivery and budget management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and preferences, and ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a five-star luxury establishment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional beverage service.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and can-do attitude.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel, and you will comfortably communicate in this language.
