Job Description

TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading accountancy practice in the Southeast, who are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their successful tax team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs, focusing on UK individuals, HNWIs, and trusts.
  • Lead tax planning projects, including non-domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts, and capital gains and inheritance tax issues.
  • Review and complete complex tax returns.
  • Oversee the compliance function and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Manage HMRC enquiries and deal with HMRC correspondence of both compliance and advisory nature.
  • Manage junior members of staff, providing technical and personal development support.
  • Support the Directors with the growth and development of the tax department.
Requirements
  • CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified, with a strong personal tax career developed within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
  • Experience in a Top Tier, Top Ten, 50 larger regional independent firm, or specialist tax firm, with a focus on personal tax and a strong compliance and tax planning skillset.
