About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at SpaMedica, where you'll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

As an Optometrist at SpaMedica, you'll be responsible for conducting pre- and post-operative assessments, obtaining informed consent, and working alongside our diagnostic team to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-operative assessments for patients undergoing cataract surgery and Laser YAG capsulotomy.
  • Obtain informed consent from patients in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Participate in the hospital on-call and weekend rota, ensuring seamless coverage.
  • Ensure your clinical area is prepared and equipped for each clinic, restoring it to order at the end of each session.
  • Undertake basic life support training and work collaboratively with the diagnostic team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Travel to other sites may be required for cover and training, but all travel expenses will be reimbursed.
