Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team and drive operational excellence.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring seamless execution of receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch processes. You will lead a team of five leaders, providing coaching and support to ensure they align with business goals and perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all areas of warehouse operations.
- Use commercial acumen to plan resources for each shift in line with forecasted needs.
- Manage the flow of work to meet delivery targets, ensuring the customer experience is prioritized and operational efficiency is maintained.
- Collaborate with the People Team to ensure accurate management of workflows, including timesheet approvals, absence management, recruitment, and contract offers.
- Supervise on-shift engineers to ensure the successful completion of maintenance tasks and smooth site operations.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in leading large, diverse teams in a fast-paced warehouse or retail environment.
- Proven track record of success in managing teams, optimizing performance, and ensuring operational excellence.
- Strong experience in resource planning and managing headcount to meet operational and budgetary needs.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Qualification in Maths and English at National Level 2 or equivalent.
