About the Role

As a Mechanical Site Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and machinery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues efficiently using technical knowledge and tools.
  • Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

You will work closely with other site technicians, engineers, and contractors to coordinate tasks and optimize workflow. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records are essential for this role.

Requirements

To succeed as a Mechanical Site Technician, you should have:

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is often preferred.
  • Relevant certifications, such as City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in mechanical systems and maintenance.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
