Job Description: Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Specialist to join our team in Deeside. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment within the production facility, working closely with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement efficient maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair complex technical issues, working closely with the team to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and complete documentation as required

Requirements:
- Time-served Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification
- Level 3 City & Guilds/ONC/BTEC desirable
- HACCP Level 2 desirable
- 18th edition certification
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of CMMS systems and documentation best practices
