As a Team Leader in Signalling Maintenance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the daily upkeep of the rail network. Your team will be responsible for inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal of signalling and telecoms equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directing and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver safe and efficient work
- Establishing safety arrangements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures
- Proactively controlling and checking the quality of work and the competence of team members
- Compiling vital reports and maintaining accurate records
You will work closely with equipment including signals, level crossings, and points systems, developing a range of technical skills across manual, electrical, and digital equipment.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for motivating and directing a team to achieve excellent results. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing, and be able to lead by example.
