About the Role

We are looking for Level 2 Nursery Assistants in the Plymouth area to work on a flexible basis. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Teacher or Room Leader in creating a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for children.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Helping to plan and deliver activities and lessons
  • SUPPORTING individual children with their learning and development
  • Ensuring that the Nursery is a safe and nurturing environment for all children
Requirements

To be considered for the role of Level 2 Nursery Assistant, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Education and Care or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements for safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
