Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art waste recycling facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist in the provision of maintenance for our manufacturing site, working closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of plant services and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of plant services and equipment to detect and prevent problems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs, working with pumps, compressors, conveyors, hydraulic systems.
  • Work on planned preventative maintenance measures to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment.

Requirements:

  • High level of determination to complete tasks.
  • Logical approach to fault finding.
  • Considerate and approachable manner.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work positively in a team environment.
  • Availability for response to being called in outside of normal working hours.
