Finning International is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Plant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of heavy plant equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and develop maintenance plans to prevent downtime.
- Perform minor repairs and replacements as required, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the controller to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure seamless delivery of services to our customers.
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the heavy plant industry.
- Formal training in health and safety, or willingness to undergo training.
- Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics.
- Valid full driving license and ability to work at customer locations.
