Join Our Team as a Software Engineer in DevOps

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our DevOps team at Vertex Search, a leading systematic trading firm based in central London. As a Software Engineer in DevOps, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable software solutions to support our business growth.

About the Role
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Work closely with the CTO to ensure alignment with the company's technical vision.
  • Develop and maintain software systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on DevOps practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, technologies, and hardware.
  • Excellent academic record in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or similar.
  • Bonus experience in data exposure, data ingestion pipelines, or big data validation, coupled with software engineering.
