Job Summary:

Capstone Investment Advisors is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our quantitative finance group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced financial models to support our investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement exotic equity products and scripted payoffs, including experience with BLAN.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of different volatility models, including Local Volatility, Local Stochastic Volatility, and Parametric Implied Volatility.
  • Conduct Monte-Carlo simulations to analyze and optimize investment strategies.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts efficiently and concisely in writing and verbally.
  • Develop and maintain programming skills in C++ and other relevant languages.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a STEM field or similar subject.
  • Direct experience working with equities and financial markets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quantitative finance.
  • Collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills.
  • 8+ years of working experience in the financial industry, preferably on the buy or sell side.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Programming skills in Java and/or Python.
