Think Accountancy and Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting and Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring corporate finance policies, IFRS standards, and internal controls frameworks to minimize business risk.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage corporate finance policies, IFRS standards, and internal control frameworks to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Lead the company's balance sheet reviews and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support external audits and reviews, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyze business-critical reconciliations in areas such as revenues, collections, duty, and taxes.
- Collaborate with finance teams, including Shared Services, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and Pensions, to drive business partnering and process improvements.
- Develop and implement effective controls and processes to ensure compliance with IFRS and other accounting standards.
- Manage and supervise a team of Reconciliation Controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Review and analyze payroll reconciliations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare annual financial statements, working closely with the UK tax team to ensure accurate and timely Corporation Tax Returns.
