Mental Health Nurse Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Inpatient Mental Health wards. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to practice a full range of core mental health nursing skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teamwork, a sense of accountability, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be responsible for providing quality evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
Main Duties of the Job
- Provide quality evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and their carers.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care on night shifts.
- Identify and contribute to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff.
- Ensure effective communication pathways exist and act within your sphere of responsibility, managing the night shift in the absence of the Ward Manager or the designated deputy.
