Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant - SEN to join our team at 1st Staff Limited. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work one-to-one with students in the Hadleigh area who have been missing education for a period of time. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver tailored support sessions to help these students regain confidence and meet their academic potential.
You will work closely with the student's family and other professionals involved in their care to develop a personalized plan that addresses their unique needs. This may involve adapting teaching methods, providing emotional support, and collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one tuition sessions to students with SEN or SEMH and challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with the student's family and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN or SEMH and challenging behaviors. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be flexible to adapt to changing circumstances. We offer a competitive salary of up to £28 per hour, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
