Learning Support Specialist

Academics is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Specialist to join our primary school in Redbridge, London.
We are looking for an individual who has a genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and be eager to develop their skills and expertise as a Learning Support Specialist.
About the Role- This long-term role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression and professional growth, as well as the chance to work closely with experienced teachers and support staff.
- As a member of our team, you will assist in implementing Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and provide individualized support to students with ASD and other learning needs.
You will collaborate with teachers to adapt learning resources and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. A nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation is essential.
Responsibilities- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
- Monitor student progress and report back to the SEN coordinator and teachers.
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- A degree and experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different student needs.
- A proactive approach to providing assistance to students and helping them achieve their goals.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
The salary for this role is £83.33 - £100 per day.
