Job Title: Early Years Learning Support Specialist

Empowering Learning is a Good-rated primary school in Waltham Forest seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Learning Support Specialist to join our early years team. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners to thrive.

About the Job:

  • Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Support children's development in key areas, including communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional skills.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NVQ).
  • Proven experience working with children in the Early Years, ideally within a school setting.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development milestones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
