About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our Guest Services team at KIMS Hospital. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of excellent patient service across all Inpatient and Outpatient Departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
  • Support the housekeeping team in delivering excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.
  • Work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital.
  • Ensure cleaning materials are used according to relevant COSHH requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience within a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation, and how these would be applied within a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department.
  • Be a good team player.
