Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Building Physics Engineer to join our specialist team on a range of building performance projects in the North East.

We are seeking a talented individual with expertise in building physics, energy efficiency, and sustainability to work on various projects, ensuring maximum performance and certification targets are achieved.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building performance analysis and using Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) software to model energy efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineers and clients to provide advice and develop solutions that meet building certification and efficiency requirements.

Salary: £34,500 - £39,500 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct building performance analysis and use IES software to model energy efficiency
  2. Collaborate with engineers and clients to develop solutions that meet building certification and efficiency requirements
  3. Provide expert advice on building physics, energy efficiency, and sustainability
  4. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Building Physics, or a related field
  • Experience with building performance modelling and IES software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid and flexible environment
