At Jacobs, we're seeking an experienced Practitioner Planning Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team. This key role will support our client EDF Energy Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK.

The successful candidate will be part of a large client-led team at EDF's Hinkley Point B location and will be accountable to the client Project Manager, Programme Manager, and/or Construction Manager.

The position is responsible for developing and managing schedules to incorporate risk, change, resource requirements, and cost in accordance with EDF Generation Company requirements and standards.

Key responsibilities include creating plans for the full project lifecycle, including development and design in the Nuclear Defueling team, supporting delivery of the client's ALR2 commitments.

The role will be based at the EDF Hinkley Point B site and will require occasional business travel to UK sites/stations. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible.

Requirements include a minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience, breadth of experience across the whole project and programme lifecycle, and proficiency in the latest version of Primavera.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture, good communication and organisational skills, and the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
