About the Role

At West Northamptonshire Council, we are seeking an experienced Senior Care Coordinator to join our team as a Care Leadership Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior carer or shift lead looking for the next move or a current Team leader wishing to gain more experience to develop themselves for the future.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the rights and responsibilities of working-age adults with disabilities through the provision and development of services. They will also support administrative, analytical, and financial tasks as designated by the manager in accordance with procedures.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in care leadership and hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or similar. They will be required to undergo 5 weeks of induction training and participate in a further 2-4 weeks 'Buddy scheme'.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate at our cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the rights and responsibilities of working-age adults with disabilities through the provision and development of services.
  • Support administrative, analytical, and financial tasks as designated by the manager in accordance with procedures.
  • Manage the ongoing review, performance, and updating of care plans and team performance to ensure that services provided accurately reflect the customers' and commissioners' needs at all times.
  • Deliver new staff induction training, continuous development, and performance to ensure effective and efficient use of this resource in accordance with the policy and objectives for this service.
What We Offer
