Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Savernake Ward in Savernake Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for our patients. You will also supervise and support nursing associates, junior staff, and students.
Main Responsibilities
- Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions
- Supervising and supporting nursing associates, junior staff, and students
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of excellence
Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload, delegating appropriately
- Enhanced clinical competencies, including venepuncture and cannulation
- Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and mental capacity legislation
