Smart Buildings – BMS Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled BMS Project Engineer to join our team at Edison Smart® in Central London. Our client is a leading solutions provider that has consistently achieved remarkable reductions in energy consumption, enhancing profitability, reducing carbon footprint, and meeting environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and servicing of BMS and HVAC control systems.
  2. Perform thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  3. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, onsite customer interaction and effective communication.
  4. Complete project and service documentation accurately and timely, adhering to industry standards.
  5. Work collaboratively with the team to accomplish assigned tasks effectively, under the direction of your supervisor.
  6. Provide technical support to customers and assist in training when required, promoting knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in the BMS and controls industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  2. Required qualification: HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on building management systems.
  3. Must possess a valid UK Driving License with a clean record, ensuring flexibility for travel to client sites as needed.
  4. Strong expertise in Trend, Distech, Schneider, and Tridium platforms is essential for success in this role.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
