Personal Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Care and Support Professional to join our team and support an individual with brain injuries in their community-based care package.
The successful candidate will work 24/7, providing one-to-one support to help the individual maintain their independence and live safely in their own home.
Job Description:
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of working with young people. They will be able to provide support with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and household chores, while also encouraging and supporting the individual to engage in activities and maintain their physical and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to the individual, assisting with daily tasks and promoting independence
- Support the individual to engage in activities and maintain their physical and mental well-being
- Accompany the individual on outings and errands, ensuring their safety and mobility
- Support the individual to manage their finances and make informed decisions
Requirements:
- NVQ in Health & Social Care or working towards it
- Experience of working with young people
- Able to provide one-to-one support and build positive relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS required (costs covered by employer)
