Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our specialist provision in Cranborne, supporting pupils aged 16-25 with ASD and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teaching staff in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum for students on and off site.
  • Build professional and trusted relationships with students, prioritizing their health, safety, and development.
  • Work 1:1 with students or in small groups, using positive behaviour management techniques.
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities, promoting student independence and success.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Experience working in an education setting, with knowledge of ASD and SEMH needs.
  • Positive and creative approach to meeting young people's needs.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills, with competent ICT skills.
