* Responsibilities and expectations:
• Plan, manage, and execute tasks involving precision machining of rare materials, underpinned by relevant industry certifications.
• Skilfully operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, ensure adherence to quality protocols, and stay updated on new manufacturing techniques.
• Effectively interpret technical documents, design specifications, and quality control standards.
• Leverage expertise in machining special alloys, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, to deliver precise results within tight deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors, fostering open communication, transparency, and constructive feedback.
* Suitable candidates will possess:
• Extensive experience in operating CNC machines with diameters spanning 8" to 30", along with lengths reaching 3.2 meters.
• A proven ability to programme C and Y axes, stabilizing mechanisms, and other advanced system functions.
• Familiarity with diverse industry sectors, encompassing oil and gas, fluid dynamics, and IT applications.
This position offers an attractive hourly compensation ranging from £16.63 to £17.77.
