Academic Program Manager

Hult International Business School is seeking a highly skilled Academic Program Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of the postgraduate academic team, you will play a vital role in delivering a world-class student experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned academic programs, working closely with the Deanery and Academic Team.
  • Monitor student progress and attendance, collaborating with Registry and Assistant/Associate Dean to ensure student success.
  • Assist with academic disciplinary issues and advise students on academic matters such as course choices and registration.
  • Support students on academic probation, leave of absence, and transitions to or from the school, working with Deanery, Registry, and other Program Managers.
  • Manage student and team concerns, conflicts, and issues, consulting with the Assistant or Associate Dean.
  • Provide administrative course support to program faculty, assist with event planning, and develop academic projects or student study/skill workshops.
  • Address student or faculty questions, adhering to institutional policies and procedures.
  • Organize and coordinate academic-related student extracurricular projects and networking/social events.
  • Support academic initiatives and projects, such as tutoring sessions, Course Assistant assignments, and guest speakers or industry events.
  • Manage academic communications to students through various channels.
  • Serve as a bridge between academics, student services, and careers, collaborating with the Assistant or Associate Dean to deliver a seamless student experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a student-facing role, with administrative or academic support experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with faculty, staff, and students of different cultures.
  • Native English speaker or similar level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven track record and commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Skilled with database management and strong comprehension of Microsoft packages.
  • Highly analytical with excellent project management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and exceptionally well organized.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance long-term planning with short-term objectives.
  • Flexible, thrive under pressure, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
